Anthony - Veterinary Assistant
Anthony is one of our most recent additions at Sylvan Corners Pet Hospital. As a young high school student, Anthony had to choose between pursuing a college football career and serving his country in the Army. He chose the army, but an accident cut that dream short. He then decided to follow his life-long passion he had as a child which was to help animals. Anthony has worked around domesticated and wild animals for over 11 years. He worked at the wonderful Weimar Wildlife Refuge for 4 years. He has cared for tigers, bears, crocodiles and snakes. After working at the Refuge for a while he decided to go back to school and graduated from Carrington College in 2015. He is intelligent, professional and has the most gentle demeanor that the animals pick up on. With his free time he works with animal rescue organizations. He is also a black belt in three different forms of martial arts. There is not much that Anthony cannot do and we are glad to have him.
